Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

Rebecca has expertise in the use of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and has been providing both individual and group DBT services in Toronto, Ontario since 2016.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy is an evidence-based treatment intervention which focuses on increasing mindfulness, distress tolerance skills, emotion regulation skills, and interpersonal effectiveness. DBT can be used to treat a wide variety of concerns stemming from emotion dysregulation including Borderline Personality traits, trauma-related concerns, disordered eating, anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
